At Astre’s General Meetings on 26 June 2024, shareholders voted to reorganise the Group’s entities with a view to accelerating its development throughout Europe. The Astre company structure will henceforth comprise a main body called Astre Europe, which will oversee the various European regional entities.
Made up of managers from the different countries where Astre operates, the Astre Europe Board of Directors will be in charge of supporting the development of the network in each region, as well as the services offered to members.
Creation of a new entity: Astre France
Like the existing European companies (Astre Iberian Peninsula (API), Astre Italy, Astre Benelux and Astre DACH), Astre France will be responsible for operating and developing all Astre services and tools in France.
In addition, Astre Europe will partially finance the various regional companies so that they can complement their local structures and accelerate the development of tools and services dedicated to their respective regions. By drawing inspiration from Astre’s successes in the most developed countries (France and Italy in particular), and with additional financial support from Astre Europe, each regional company will be able to grow significantly while adapting to local specificities.
The ambition of a solid and balanced European network
Astre currently has 160 members and over 400 sites in Europe and has set itself the goal of reaching a community of 200 members by 2030. It also aims to offer equivalent services and tools for purchasing, pallet distribution, digital, training, CSR support, communication, business development, finance, and insurance in each country.
With more homogenous and complementary regional companies, the Astre network aims to consolidate its position as European leader.
